Hypothesis H15: Phosphatase is a Hidden Bottleneck Only in the Bypass System. In the 4-OH-L-Trp bypass system, removing PsiH shifts the pathway bottleneck to the dephosphorylation step. If phosphatase activity is insufficient, psilocybin accumulates because the conversion to psilocin becomes rate-limiting.Computational Metabolic Engineering
