Cell-Free Psilocin Biosynthetic System: Oxygen Transfer Hypothesis
CFPS-H8

Owned by0xa2eC2…5cD3c

Project Description

Hypothesis H8: Oxygen transfer becomes rate-limiting above a PsiH flux threshold in the 11-enzyme cell-free pathway. The monooxygenase PsiH requires O2 as substrate. At high PsiH loading, oxygen mass transfer from gas to liquid phase becomes rate-limiting, causing diminishing returns. Predictions: (1) Increasing PsiH beyond threshold at fixed mixing won't improve t90, (2) Higher O2 transfer conditions rescue performance, (3) Dissolved oxygen drops in high-PsiH/low-transfer, (4) H2O2 formation may increase under O2-limited conditions.
